Heard from the next door aunty and uncle that Lulu belonged to the couple who took her last Tuesday....
The couple claimed that Lulu ran away from home and was missing for about three months .... (sigh....), it was about the same time Lulu appeared in front of our house ... (it was only 4 houses apart from ours ...)...
Anyway, uncle next door convinced them that Lulu is well taken care of and they should let her remained with this "desperate and reluctant housewife...", plus, not forgetting the fact that we have paid quite substantially for her medical and if they wants her back, they would probably need to reimburse us.... (yes, her medical bill was worth about 480 plates of chicken rice...)
On the day she was taken away, they kept her indoor while they went to work in the morning. In the evening when they returned, Lulu sprinted out from their house and ran into our house compound, so said next door aunty ...
Looking back, when Lulu started appearing in front of our house, hungry and looking for shelter.... with a wound on her right arm, dirty and smelly, we really did think that she was abandoned.....
If they really loved her, they would have looked for her... but they didn't...
If they really loved her, they would have kept her safe.... but they didn't...
If they really loved her, they would have kept her full and content ..... and not roaming around for food...
Ponder on....
