Tesco Puchong - Insider Job?? "Reduced Priced Item" (meat, chicken ..)

I was on a late evening "chicken wing" mission at TESCO Puchong last Sunday. Chicken Wings was selling at RM 8.49 a kilo.
As it was rather later (probably 2hrs before store closing), I saw only 3 chicken wings left. Oh well, nevermind, it has already been published as "limited stock" in the newsletter. That I understand ....

However, what I don't understand was the loading of "reduced priced items" (esp. chicken, beef) into two particular customers' trollies! I thought these items are meant for all customers of TESCO???

Let me describe what I saw on Sunday, 4-Jan-08 at TESCO Puchong, maybe an hour of so before the store closing.

First, there was this lady customer with other goods in her trolley, spoke to the cleaner and staff at the chicken department. Suddenly, I see one of the staff coming out with packs of reduced priced beef (with yellow stickers) and putting them into her trolley! There were like more than 10 packs of beef!

Second incident, the chicken counter staff was loading chickens (more than 10!) and packs of marinated meat (looks like chicken, beef), all with yellow sticker (reduced price item) into this guy's trolley!!

The "reduced priced items" were not even displayed! What is this? I was so mad that I complained at the customer service counter. The lady as the customer service counter was helpful, she requested that the security personnel to check the chicken counter and paged for the duty manager. The duty manager however, didn't even bother to see or speak to me, lady at the counter suggested that I leave my number and they will call me back.

It happened on Sunday, today is Tuesday and I have not heard from this Duty Manager - Arzul Yadu....

Trust me, if they don't give me an explanation by Friday, I'll write an email to TESCO all around the world ...
