Happy Malaysia Day

"Hujan emas di negeri orang, hujan batu di negeri sendiri, lebih baik negeri sendiri"

I wish

But

Is it true?

Look at Penny Wong, a Malaysian-born Chinese of mixed parentage.

Imagine, if she's still in Malaysia,
What would she have become?

She will be far, far away from being a Finance Minister,
Will even have difficulties getting an Accountant position at any of the Government-link organisation or MNC.

Why?

Because she will be considered as a "Malaysian" of a different kind.
Even our wonderful DPM says "MxLxY first, Malaysian Second"

Worse still? She will probably get into trouble for being lesbian.

So, for her - It is true to say "Hujan emas di negeri orang, hujan batu di negeri sendiri, lebih baik negeri orang"

I'd probably get some nasty comments asking me to go "visit China" (for good) - but oopps sorry, Malaysia is my HOME!

Be proud to be Malaysian!! (minus the screwed up "management")

This Malaysia Day - I hope we will all become truly MALAYSIAN, minus greed and a very old senile ex-PM who can't keep his mouth shut with racist remarks (and we had him governing the country for 20 over years - Are we MAD or what?)

Happy Malaysia Day ALL!!

Oh Lucky, Cats are so much smarter than Humans, aren't they?

Even in the USA there's too much discrimination and racism. All I can do is be the best Human I can be and hope that others follow my example. And teach my kids right from wrong.

Happy Malaysia Day!

Give Lucky a smooch from alla us.
