Boohoohoo Budget

"Another landmark project "Warisan Merdeka" which includes a 100-storey tower, the tallest in Malaysia, at cost of RM5 billion to be completed by 2015"

The last I check - I still need to "kung fu" the toilet door at the hospital and toilet bowl is so shaky that I am afraid to sit on it! Did I mention stinky? - no toilet paper - no soap?

Do we really need to spend RM5B on a 100-storey tower?
Did I say "tower"??
"tower"??

TOWER????

After,

One RM811M palace??

One Astronaut

And

Two Submarines

????

We are one very "rich" country indeed,
Wait till the oil runs out.
Ooopss!

That does sound like way too much money for a tower. Why do they need that, I wonder?? That is going to be quite the tower. Take care and have a great week end.

Yes, and what about earthquakes?

Hmmmm, that much money could help a LOT of pets. AND their humans.

Jobs for the boys. And what's this crap about a budget for "improving morals"???????

It is just so frustrating!

Yesterday TV featured this guy who had advanced CKD (kidney failure), bed-ridden - who stopped receiving financial assistance from the Zakat and he didn't know why.

It had to take a TV show to give him what he deserved! Now, imagine others suffering in silence!

Sickening....

Yeah, TOWER = more jobs for the boys!! Cheers! More school floors collapsing, hospital ceiling infested with fungus, cockroaches - ooo we are indeed going towards a high income nation - my foot!

Improving morals? Yeah - we are all demoralised ... :D

Hehehe - I like what Brian said "expensive litter box"!

Politics sucks; what a waste of money that could be a real contribution to society if used in a smart way...Sometimes it's difficult to accept the things we can't change (especially the stupid things!), so if possible, have some wine or a long, hot bath (or both!) and relax this weekend, sweet Bin!...Take care of yourself...hugs...J

There's always more money for the rich and nice little earners if you've got the right handshake but the needy are put in a dark cupboard and forgotten.
I will have a large "adult" drink tonight but won't be toasting the bankers!
Hannah and Lucy send hugs and kisses to Lucky and you. xx xx

I do agree with u Bina, what a waste project after all. There are alot towers in KL and they want to add one more. I hope they discontinue this project. The money should be used to improve our public hospital service, schools, animal welfare and many other things.

Then I feel want to stop paying tax.. anyway to do it?

The only thing I like about on this Budget is reducing 50% duty stamp on S&P for 1st house purchase.. since I havent own any house for now :):)
