Onion : Mom, not again!!!
Mom : Hehehehe
P:S: We would like to apologise for our mom's weird behaviour, good for us though, she keeps forgetting that she has fed us! So we get extra yummies!
Talk about "yummies" - Mom has just added a poll on the right hand side of this blog.
Please, answer intelligently ...

Well, we voted for 3 times, but it depends on the cat. I could free-feed Chumley and Annie, and could with Nicki too, but I can't free-feed with Derry because he'd eat all the kibble in the house if I did. And both boys get a very restricted amount of dry food because they are high risk for crystals.
When I'm home, they end up getting fed 4 or more times a day, small amounts at a time. My work days usually mean they get fed early in the AM, when I get home, and later in the evening.
P.S. That is such an adorable photo of Onion! Lots of belly smooches!
Oh Onion you total sweetheart!!!!!
Me and Charlie voted for more than 3x- of course!! Cos you're all so CUTE and thoroughly lovely!!! And you deserve tons and tons of extra treats! :-)
Take care

I voted 3 times for Happy!! She would love more but she is 17 to 19 years old and should not over eat!!
Bambi gets 3 times too and porbably shouln't but if the cat eats she thinks the dog should eat too!! LOL
Love your pic of Onion!!

I will and that tummy there at the top of the blog...OMC! I could snorgle that forEFFUR! (that was mommy..gee, she embarrasses me)
Onion...such adorable tummy you have. Lemme check mine...err...no spots like yours. purrr....meow!
I said 3 but I hand over biscuits 24/7 and wet food twice a day. In this climate, you can't give too much in one go so less more often is best.
Greetings,
dad says kittens are so free spirit but in my case, I am a little more modest but then I'm a senior cat.
We could not help but love the picture.
Wishing you all the best,
Ms Kitty and Egmont
Such a precious photo=we love those adorable babies and that adorable tummy!...I feed my kitties every morning in 2 bowls and let them free feed; sometimes I add a little at night if it is empty when I get ready for bed...xoxo...J
Onion, poor Sylvester just about passed out! That tummy is delishus!
We are fed twice a day, with a few kibbles for treats in the morning as well.
Mommy asks if you can take sumatriptan for your migraines?
bolatnya gerammmm!!!
THAT BELLY! MUST TOUCH!
How often to feed depends on the age and weight and appetite of the kitten/cat. Cats between 5 and 8 weeks should be fed every 4-6 hours. Younger than that should be fed more often.
(From the looks of those bellies, you're doing A-OK.)
Older cats are different. My cats are fed moderately 6 times a day. Look for a food that's high in fiber and low in fat. Check the ingredients on the label - if corn or wheat or meal is listed in the first five ingredients, put it back. Like with humans, it's about quality, not quantity. Plus, less food more often means there's less change of overeating and getting sick.
I still can't get over that tummy! It's hypnotic.
nuffin cuter than kitten tummies! We voted. We used to be 'free fed' but now that Disco is on a diet, we adults get fed twice a day, and the kittens get fed free choice. Everyone is liking their Nulo food, but it's probably not available where you live, but if you visit their website you will learn a lot about nutrition and how to read labels, too.
OMGoodness Onion is adorable! I free feed our cat Ginger. But she manages her diet very well...She's just the right weight. She was on canned food with my other cat before he passed away and she actually lost weight. She didn't like it. Once she went back to dry food her weight went back up.
