Fully Disengaged!

Aha ... refering to the post below on 'Talented, Disillusioned' by Cesar Bacani....

I hereby announce .... (drumroll pls!)

I was once fully engaged!

Then I became disillusioned!

Now, I am fully disengaged!

Why did i resign?

First, money is not everything (Boss-T, thought it was and tend to remind me me how well I am paid (almost sounded like I was 'overpaid'), despite my true, undying efforts! I was fully engaged! Look around me! I know what 'overpaid' means in the organisation!

Secondly, my employer (aka Boss-T as a representative) never see the potential in me. (I assume I do have potential while writing this, ahem!). He sees me as an clerk, that is why I can never advance and I was stupid enough to think if I worked harder, he will pick me for the next advancement! BS!

Oh ya, not forgetting ...

Once Boss-T labelled me 'incapable' when S left, she actually suggested my name to replace her as an accounts supervisor ... guess what Boss-T said to her? 'She is incapable'. The truth in this? I believe S. Anyway, S came back after two years and guess what? to a better position, better pay! (not that she became any more intelligent but she is sexier though!) I guess 'loyalty' means nothing in this organisation!

While I was in Thailand, after setting up the corporate accounts, when the new corporate accountant was about to report to work, Boss-T said this right to my face 'It is you who don't have a permanent place here' - just to get me moving out to the common area. Now was that nasty or what?

Not forgetting the double standards while I was in Thailand .... ahhhh
