Project : Bean Sprouts – Day 1

I am trying to grow my own bean sprout, with guide from Lily Ng’s blog.

Ingredients

Two handfuls of mung green beans
Container (Mine is RED!)
Water
Kitchen Towel
Some sort of 'weight'





First, wash the mung green beans (also known as ‘Lok Tau’ in Cantonese, ‘Lek Tau’ in Hokkien) and get rid of not-so-nice beans.



Soak beans overnight, cover with kitchen towel. Away from light!! (For white-looking bean sprouts, light will encourage photosynthesis, and sprouts will turn green!)
