Well, HKL is Hospital Kuala Lumpur where charges are greatly subsidized by Ministry of Health.
While HUKM is Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia is a University Hospital under the 'armpit' of Ministry of Education, where charges are partly (not greatly) subsidized and can still can cost a 'bomb'.
Why HUKM?
It is much nearer to our home.
Paying more means a shorter (hopefully) queue.
Sophia's appointment is next Tuesday - 16/4.
