Wordless Wednesday : Lucky & Garlic

Cats, Car and Crash ...

Today is my typical Saturday, I'd usually ignore my hubby call to wake up for breakfast, unless he utter the words, "I belanja laa ...", or "Dim Sum" ...., otherwise, only me, myself can wake myself up ...

Woke up at around 10 am ....

Feed the cats ....

Scoop their poo and pee ...

Scream, trying to find who's responsible for the "deposit" on my floor mat ...

Then, open front door, to be greeted by Meow Kung, Darkie, Fire, WinWin, Mao Na and "noname", a bit odd today as I didn't see another stray meowmmy with her kittens and Tai Kor of the street ... anyway .... as usual ... about 250gm of cat kibbles for the morning session ...

I then confined TIGER in a cage for a trip to the vets ... why? Tiger is turning into a botak-head, like GARLIC ...
I brought GARLIC to the vet last Tuesday, the doc found traces of mites and she is now on Ivermectin treatment, one injection a week for 3 continuous weeks. The doc weighed her and she is 4.58kg!!!
Anyway, this is how GARLIC looks today ... still bald, probably she is turning into a Sphynx .... wow ...



As you can see, I've got a new "Kura-Kura on Board" for my 14-yr old white kancil ...

TIGER and her bald spots, not as obvious as GARLIC's ..

The vet was not able to find mites on TIGER, so, she thinks it may be fungal and I'd have to continue bathing her with a special shampoo. It may take a while before TIGER's hair grows back... sigh . .. I seriously dislike bathing cats, I don't even like bathing myself ... sigh ....
Reaching home, I tried to reverse park my very little kancil ...
reverse....reverse ....
****bang .... crash ****

Damnit! Why did TALAM build a pillar there!
Damnit ... I crashed into my own house porch pillar! I know my neighbours heard it! So to avoid them asking me, "Terlanggar ke?" ... I sat in the car for 5 minutes, make sure they were IN their house before getting out of the car ..... Damn ...

Garlic! Frustrated!

Putting myself in GARLIC's paws, I'd be as frustrated as she is right now, being restrained by this weird Elizibethan collar ... being mocked at by ONION and GINGER and couldn't even lick my a** after shee shee and poo poo.

GARLIC's sutures condition is worrying. The pet shop owner who arranged for spaying will get the VET to call me today after a reminder sms I sent him.

Oh GARLIC, meowmmy is sorry for all this. {{hugs}}

The Girls (Onion & Garlic)

Okay, first picture is out-of-topic, just typical GINGER trying to show his "thangs" (but I am sure his "thangs" are not there!!!)

GARLIC head who we sent for spaying last Friday appears to be having problem with her sutures. I've put her on a neck collar and applied "yellow lotion" as suggested by vet. ONION who we sent on Saturday for spaying has recovered very well. Considering that ONION was fixed a day later and healed better than GARLIC is making me worry about GARLIC...

ONION was spayed at Klinik Kembiri-SPCA and as you can see from the photo below, it has almost completely healed!

Garlic and Onion "fixed" ...

With two "catsonovas" lurking around, I am not taking my chances. Garlic and Onion have been fixed.

Garlic is still at the vet, will be bringing her back tomorrow.

Onion's surgery was done at Klinik Kembiri. She looks a bit weak and upset at the moment. Can't "belly rub" her for now.

Peace and Quiet ....

Garlic girl is back to her normal self ....

No more "meeeoooowww.....eoooow....eoooooww..." (translated to : I need some pokings....pls)

I am now terified, not only Salem tried to mount on her, Manja tried too ....

I've now got two teenage girls and two teenage boys with raging hormones!

Will be sending GARLIC for spaying on 1-May-09. I've seen how frustrated and desperate she was the whole week, I know she will be a good meowmmy but I am doing this for the "greater good" (like the way the Charmed ones puts it).

Funny thing I noticed today is, the stray cats that I have been feeding are missing?

Garlic is now confined in the chastity room a.k.a toilet.

Garlic Day 117 - 30-Oct-08

Well, this is Garlic, a big kitty now. 117 days to be exact.

She used to be the smallest but have grown to match the size of her other siblings, Onion and Ginger.

Now, what can I tell you about GARLIC?
GARLIC likes to meow a lot, and when she meows, she wants attention. She wants you to stroke or play with her. When you ignore her, she will jump to your lap and rake her claws on you!

Plus, she loves to twine herself around my ankle, especially when I am walking down the stairs!

Garlic giving me numbers????

Eversince reading about the couple who striked it rich, a whooooooping RM20M on TOTO Mega jackport, I've been living a numeric life .... I am beginning to see things in number, like, I've got 8 cats, my hubby's IC no, my IC no, my car no., my tel. no - "NUMBERS" seem to have come alive!

And just yesterday, Garlic somehow, managed to dislocate "4" on my notebook keyboard ... is it the sign of the first no. of a mega jackport to come???? "4" .............

I believe, the next RM20M will start with no. 4 .......

Surprise!! Poo under my bed ...

Yes, that GARLIC poo'ed' under my bed. Spent the whole night trying to cleanse the "air" ... and "chi" ...
I guess she is pissed that I brought in a stray kitten.
Hmmm ...... another diva in making...

Above is GARLIC @ Day 21 !! and talah .... presenting GARLIC @ Day 75! See how much she has grown! GARLIC specialises in peeing on her Meowmmy's IKEA bed, disconnects cables from the electrical socket and ... lately, nibbling my toe at 5 in the morning!!

Size wise, she is the smallest. Meows gently whenever she wants to play. Adorable and very feminine.

I know, it has been a while since I last updated photos of my furry kids .... been busy and wasn't really feeling on top of the hill, rather, at times, I feel like rolling down the hill ... yeah, my energy level gets depleted very quickly especially on rainy, gloomy days like these!

Onion ...... her tail doesn't look that crooked anymore, thanks to its length! She really does have a long tail! Lovely little gal .... I like to look at her, she looks funny ... can't tell why!

Garlic looks very lady-like, though her action speaks otherwise! Likes playing with cables and curtains. Second, but smallest in size!

The loudest among all! Ginger!! The only boy, naughty and loves attention! His facial features are getting sharper and I say, very macho!

By the way, TIGER is now their official baby sitter!!!

I observed that the kittens are ingesting litter sand! Very worrying!

I have been advised to replace with wood or paper based material as the current clumping sand material may cause tummy upset in kittens!!!

Other than that, they are really good furry kids, they will go back to their cage once they had enough of playing! I do not have to run like a mad woman, catching them and putting them back into the cage by FORCE!!!

Loving them more everday!

Garlic Day 34 - 8-Aug-08

Very difficult to photograph the kittens as they love running around, plus my RICOH R4 is a pain. I am not sure if it is me or the camera but shots are always out of focus!
Oh yes, the kitties are starting to eat soaked kibbles!

Kitties Day 33 - 7-Aug-08

We have decided to confine all kitties in a cage. They are getting too mischievous, Garlic is always playing with the table fan, Onion and Ginger are always experimenting with power cables. Plus, not forgetting Garlic almost fell from the stairs yesterday (luckily we we around and managed to grab her).

TIGER is a bit unhappy as she considers the cage as her territory ... :)
