Lucky

LUCKY. I named the special cat, - Lucky - the only name I can think of on-the-spot at the vet clinic.

Lucky, he is just so lucky.
His luck changed overnight,
He became "Lucky",
So Lucky that prayers and kindness poured in far and near,
So Lucky that other furry ones are purring for him.

No more close-up or disturbing photos - just photos of LUCKY being lucky.

I skipped work and took Lucky to the vet clinic today.
Doc said "trauma to the tail and paw".
Doc asked Lucky "What happened to you?"
But Lucky just stared at him blankly...
Guess no one will ever know, but one thing for sure, he wasn't born like this.

There's not much left of his paw pad. Fortunately though, wound on his paw seemed to have dried and crusted.

His tail is a little worrying as it is raw, open and a little infected. Lucky is now on oral antibiotic, twice a day and once-a-day dab of iodine for a week. If all goes well, he will be going in for surgery next week.

Lucky thanks everyone from the bottom of his heart.
He has never expected so much "love".


P:S: Lupie's turn to the Nephro Clinic tomorrow for blood test! Wish me luck that everything is A-OKAY!! This means, I gotta go to bed early tonight!

Why? Why? Why?

Why, why, why?

What have I done wrong?

I am the sweetest little kitty,

Though at times when hunger strikes,

I may be a little naughty, just a little,

Why, why, why?

Why did you chop off my paw?

Why, why, why?

Why did you chop off my tail?

It was only a fish,

I am hungry,

I didn't mean it,

I ran, ran, ran,

I cried, cried, cried,

Pain took over hunger,

I can only cry at what I've lost,

I can only imagine what happened to this homeless kitty.
I couldn't ignore him, taken him home and will see if the vet can do something about his "inflammed" tail. Looks to me, his paw and tail have been chopped off. Let's hope I find a nice, kind vet who won't charge me a bomb.

Barley & Bianca

Barley has been adopted by a nice little girl named Bianca.

Probably it is fated, she came for Cili but took Barley instead.

Yes, I am very sad..... Barley is very special, she is the first one I brought indoor and like a "green cow" she is never afraid of anything. She is a purr machine!

I hope Bianca and Barley will be best of friends.
